Ooruni focuses on equal opportunities that are to be explored, expedited, and exposed to impoverished kids, women, and specially-abled people.
"Give Their World" is an initiative to support differently-abled and specially-abled individuals by building an environment conducive to them and providing platforms to portray their talents. Ooruni celebrates the Freedom Carnival, imbibing the beauty and serenity of differently-abled individuals, with fun activities, games, and talent showcases. This has been celebrated annually since 2017, alongside parental awareness sessions led by experts to guide parents of special kids.
Ooruni has launched "AWAKE" (Advocacy to Women’s Ability and Knowledge for Empowerment) to support women empowerment since 2017. Initiatives include women entrepreneur meets, POSH awareness seminars, and collaborations like "We are your Voice" to connect HR professionals and employers with differently-abled students.
Another milestone, the Working Women Achievers Award, recognizes achievements of 50 women annually and features a book titled "100 Working Women Achievers".

During the Gaja cyclone rehabilitation in 2018, two chain saw machines were delivered to Vilundamaavadi representatives. Additionally, over 3 tons of relief materials were supplied and distributed across 23 locations in 9 villages.
Ooruni Foundation has been actively involved in various Social Awareness Initiatives to address critical societal issues. The Accident Free Nation Campaign emphasizes the importance of the Good Samaritan Law and the golden hour to encourage people to assist accident victims. The Suicide Free Tamil Nadu Awareness Campaign focuses on reducing suicide rates by promoting mental health awareness and providing support to those in need. Additionally, in 2017, Ooruni organized an Awareness Session on GST Applicability and its Impact on NGOs, the Social Sector, and CSR initiatives, aiming to educate and empower stakeholders in these fields.
